Administrator Settings

Default Mode

Specifies the mode when the device starts.

Transmit button

Sends the settings to the network interface.

Cancel button

Cancels any changes.

Help button

Opens EpsonNet Config Help.

User Authentication Function

Specifies the methods for user authentication.

Off

User authentication is not used.

Only Authenticated Users Allowed

Without authentication, control panel operations are unavailable. Operations on the network such as Network Scanning, PC‐FAX are also unavailable.

Allow Network Users

Without authentication, control panel operations are unavailable. Operations on the network such as Network Scanning, PC‐FAX are available.

Authentication Proxy IP Settings

Enter the IP address of the server where the authentication proxy for MFP is installed.

Cancels any changes.

Opens EpsonNet Config Help.

Administrator Name

Enter the administrator name for the device (up to 255 characters).

Administrator Information

Enter the administrator's contact information (up to 255 characters).

Favorite Name

Enter the name you want to display on the Favorite tab on the Web-based configuration utility screen (up to 20 characters).

Favorite URL

Enter a hyperlink destination from the Favorite tab on the Web-based configuration utility screen (up to 64 characters).

Enter an explanation for your Favorite Name and Favorite URL (up to 64 characters).

Sleep

Select a length of time before the device enters sleep (energy saving) mode.

If you select Off, the device does not enter sleep mode.

Power Off Timer

Select a length of time before the device automatically turns off.

Select Off to disable the power off timer.

Panel Lock

Enable to use the panel lock function.

Limit Access to Each User

Select to limit user access.

Job without Authentication

Specify the setting to use when receiving data that does not have authentication.

Edit button

Displays the screen to edit the selected registered information.

Export button

Exports the registered infromation as a file.

Import button

Imports a file that contains user information.

Delete

Deletes the selected registered information.

Transmit button

Sends the settings to the network interface.

Cancel button

Cancels any changes.

Opens EpsonNet Config Help.

User Name

Specify the name displayed as the user name.

Password

Displays the password setting screen.

Copy

Specifies the copy function limitations.

Scan

Specifies the scan function limitations.

Fax

Specifies the fax function limitations.

Print from Computer

Specifies the PC printing limitations.

Print from Memory Device

Specifies the printing from memory device limitations.

OK button

Updates the specified user information.

Cancel button

Cancels the specified items.

Administrator Password: Change button

The Administrator Password dialog box appears. Enter a new password using between 1 and 20 characters in ASCII (0x20-0x7E). Depending on the model, you may not be able to enter ":;<=>?@[\]^_`". If you forget the password, you need to revert the Network Interface to the factory default settings.

Network Interface: Execute button

Reverts the Network Interface to the factory default settings. Enter the password when the password is changed.

All: Execute button

Reverts all settings to the factory default settings. Enter the password when the password is changed.
